Movicon PowerHMI© is easy-to-use and designed to give you a very intuitive and rapid environment for you to build any visualization and graphic interface application for PCs, Touch Panels, Embedded devices or Mobile devices.
• Project Explorer Window
Through the Project Explorer Windows you can explore, insert, edit and modify any of the project's resources. The Task Panel, at the bottom of the screen, allows you to set resource related commands with simple right mouse clicks. Filters, ordering and many other programming functions have been left at your disposal.
• Properties Window
The Properties Window allows you to configure the project with anything you may need such as resources and objects.

• Smart Real Time Tag Database
The Realtime Database allows you to define Tags that manage information within the project. Any tag can be dinamically linked to the PLC Address through the specified I/O driver, or via OPC. PowerHMI supports direct tag importing from the PLC database saving you time in not having to declare tags twice.

• Symbols Library and Object Toolbox
A powerful graphic vectorial editor is at your disposal to realize any kind of static or animated drawing. You can create your own symbols and add it the libraries.
There are countless number of smart, attractive and ready-to-use symbols, which allow you to create graphics and animated screens with great impact. Buttons, Sliders, Switches, Gauges and a lot of other pre-configured graphic objects have been provided to help you drastically reduce time in developing.
• Powerful Alarms Manager and Historical Log
The Alarms can be managed as objects and can be displayed in any screen as summaries, banners or in different styles. The manager is fully compliant with ISA 2C rules but can be configured freely in its own properties.
All events and messages are recorded on historical files in text and XML format, for a configurable period of time. The Historical Log Window, just like the Alarm Window, is available as an object to show historical data.
• Data Loggers, Trends, Recipes
In addition to the standard HMI features, PowerHMI also provides powerful and flexible DataLogger/Recipes resources.
This enables you trace your Tags and record them on XML files, so that they can be made available for analysing through data tables, grids or trends. The Recipes are managed as objects and allow archives based on XML files and graphic interfaces to be automatically created on screens.
Trends objects are fully customisable to plot samples on screens and record values on .CSV files.
• Create logic functions using the scripts
PowerHMI offers simple script codes using an Instruction List as a language for managing logics, formulas and calculations.
The script code is like a PLC, very simple and fast. Apart from being used for calculations, it can also be used for combining tags and variables and controlling remote I/O, for instance, just like PLC . It can be used to change screens, activate recipes, manage alarms and create complete HMI application interaction.
• Use direct I/O drivers to exchange data with your PLC
PowerHMI includes a complete I/O driver library to communicate directly with your PLC, network or fieldbus.
Siemens, Rockwell, Omron, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Schneider, and more have been integrated in PowerHMI to allow you to start communicating immediately without you ever needing any OPC Server. Neverthelss, the OPC Client technology has been provided and is always on hand if you wish to use it for connecting to OPC Servers.
Direct drivers allow the use of the powerful and automatic Tag Iimport feature (from PLC), to save you time in defining Tags in your HMI project.
